hi all...:) before i go any further ..i'd like to dedicate this to norbert (deadhead)he did a fantastic thing by sharing a scene with us..and in doing so allowing me to break it down and see how to create waves and such with terrains ..beforehand i didn't have a clue...although i used lights in this scene and not glow its really helped me to understand another neat trick within vue..so a big thankyou norbert your a star..:)there's no post to this its all done within vue..:) **************credits********************* french kiss'es vanessa (framboise)mermaid daz mermaid textures and conforming mertail kozabura hair ********************************************** rest is pure vue rendered in broadcast..comments are always wellcome and appreciated..to all you lurkers out there ..leave a comment it helps me and other artists in a big way...regards all (davy)

The water looks terrific, Davy; you really dug into Norbert's scene, I can tell, the waves look so real it's amazing! I think that mermaid might need some Dramamine, lol! Great job!

I am impressed by cool colors - amazing - One thing I would suggest is to use an additional light from underwater - to soften shadows on characters skin - it will simulate the light reflected from water surface - remember to set maximal soft shadows (45) and "no cast sadows" for water and ground materials. :-))
