The knife background is really good. The rhythm and symmetry, as well as the blood-red combination with the steely highlights in the upper half of the image suggest hardness and cold. A very adequate frame. Poor Good Wife is freaking out.

glowing knives... ruling life, to keep her minds sharp. yes, it can hurt, autch! but we need to be awake to not let life pass like tour de france... good wife is able to rule knives, to rule her own life, its just for a moment she is confused, who rules... hope she will figure out again, who is the boss in her life/kitchen... love your work, specially glowing reds...

Ha! I love this!!! This has to be one of your best, Kurt. Poor good wife thinks too much - our little brains can't make sense of the world in logical terms. The knives are done masterfully. I like the sharp blades contrasted with the swirling handles. Great.

a strong composition in shape and color, one of your best (if thats possible)RS

I love knives...the way light plays along them...but I also understand why some people fear them. I would love to know what knives mean to you. Perhaps I should be thinking more like freud??

A step toward the darker side here, very well represented knives! Great work, one of my favorites!

I REALLY love this one, Kurt - from the strong composition, to the baby spirals on the knives, to the good wife's expression. Excellent! Thanks.

does she have to prove herself by knowing where each knive is used for?...Here is this complete set she bought with lots of money and now who is telling her which one to use when.??? Do as I did.. Hide them in a drawer so nobody will kill you with them if they get too frustrated with you.. lol..
