Description
Well I've been down with the flu for a good week *Sniffs*
So no progress made on the site or tut as of yet!
But going to be making a REAL start tonight.
But I had this daydream the other day, and just had to get it down.
So here's a little rough in of what was in my dream...
Bascially she is some kind of scavenger from the apocolyptic wasteland that is now the earth.
We have no 'breathable' atmospehere as it's all toxic.(hence the gasmask)
The rain that falls endlessy is caused from the fallout!
*I think it was a Global nuclear war of somesort that caused the destruction*
And the only way we can survive is via a liquid called Pli-Zum (The Green stuff you see in pic)
This is fed to our bodies via a series of tubes and canisters.
It's in short supply so you can imagine, that people left behind fight to the death for it!
What i'm bascially after is, a little crit and some possible suggestions..
I'm thinking of adding in some kind of burnout buildings possible in the far BG.
Just some smouldering remains if you will.
I'm happy with the pose, and suit so far..
but you can add your $2 worth in about them if you have any further ideas?
And any other suggestions you can think of, please speak up.

What an incredible imagination you have!! I love what you've done so far, but I do think a few smoldering ruins in the background would add a great deal to the "end of the world as we know it" sort of theme you have begun here. I'm so excited to see your art back in the gallery again, and I do hope you continue with the story line because it's facinating! {{{Hugs}}}

I little while ago I was sitting having a coffee just after nightfall. Off to the east were two large stacks from a power generation plant, close together, and between them was this full moon. It was striking... The moon in your picture, and the mention of burned out, ruined buildings got me thinking of that effect, so I thought I'd mention it... could be interesting with obvious damage to the buildings.
Another point comes to mind... She doesn't look to be armed. I imagine you already thought of that and the weapons are yet to come in a more completed draft, but better to mention something you already thought of than not mention something you didn't hm?
It looks and sounds like a great concept. I'm looking forward to it. :-)

Awwww, I am so sorry you have been sick! ((big warm fuzzy get well soon hugs)) As far as the image, I think it looks really good so far, love that mask and the lighting effects as they are, looks like it will turn into something really special. :)

So sorry you've been ill, and I hope you are feeling much better! Now as to the WIP! What a terrific start!! The first thing I thought before reading your comments was 'underwater diver'. I suppose it's the stuff dripping off the body that looked like seaweed, and the tank on the back that looked like oxygen tank, and of course the oxygen mask that made me think of bubbles floating to the top of the water, that bright spot! LOL Then of course it could be any number of things, even a frog woman with fins and gills coming ashore into a new world and evolving! And to top it all off, it's MiKo0's fantasy, and he will make it a masterpiece whatever he does to it!! I'm looking forward to seeing what you really do to it!! -SeaC- :)

I wouldn't add any buildings at all..the sense of desolation is absolute with total darkness and stillness. You do have weird dreams and well it doesn't really surprise me...he he! I would show the green fluid going through her veins through a transparent suit. There's my 2$ worth he he!...I'll give it to you for 2 cents actually. Glad you're back and feeling better. Wonderful work, almost a comic book type feel to it, like Spawn. Can't wait for the next installment! Maybe some crimson red debris, smoldering, with some smoke,old ruined buildings. Hey what am I doing, your imagination will be fantastic!

Whatever you got..do not give it to me! I hate being ill L THis is a wonderful piece I can't wait to see it finished. Now personally I would mute out some of the tones and go with a yellow/green sky and horizon. Green just implies this toxicity to it and yellow shows some happy but if it's dull it sucks the life out of you. Does that make sense? L ANother thing I would do is rust up the armor just a bit, figuring with all that nuclear stuff in the air it's prolly acid rain that's comming down and ruining everything. I'm sure you've already thought of these things L Looks great sweety. hugznkissez -Kara

Hei Mike, Im glad youve covered from the flu. This is a really great concept and I cant't wait to see the finished work. I dont know why but for some reason I feel the background and the overall feeling of the image should be burning red/orange, maybe even have a blistering horizon. with dark clouds looming. I know it doesnt make much sense because of the rain but weather can be unpredictable (especially after a nuclear war :) Well that's my 2 Icelandic kronas ;) Cant wait to see the finished work. Keep in touch buddy ;) and stay healthy my friend.

Chucks a box of tissues;-)~I go with a more nozzled mouthpiece,a larger one may indicate a more complex air break /escape sytem?!lol!I like the pose but maybe some texures on the clothes~rubber ?!?A high view point is a must!The city must suffer below the fighting for the fluid!Excellent concept pal,:-)bye calum

Sorry to hear you're feeling sick. i think the buildings and that would be a good idea, but not fire, maybe smoking because of the rain? Or something? Her suite should be shiny because of the rain hitting it maybe? Just a suggestion :-)
