Description

Thanks for looking and thank you to all who looked and commented on my last render. Here are two renders and I would like you to choose which one looks better. The images are identical except for the terrain map. (So not identical actually...lol) The render on the left is using an Arial photo used by Adrian Farnsworth in his scene North-West Derby included in Vue4 Pro. The other is an Arial Photo I got off the net but is of lesser quality. So. Let me know so I can post the favourite render here:

I like the one on the left as well, the one on the right is just too pixelated. I like the motion blur of the planes and the lighting on the terrain, Great Job!

Thank you for your comments, and yes...lol I happened to watch the film today, and though I don't condone war, I was inspired by the visuals in the film to do something similar. I was going to mention where I got the inspiration from when everyone who is going to choose, chooses:) But maybe I should say that now...lol Thanks for your choice and it is my favourite too, but not entirely mine as like I said in the write-up, the Photo came from another scene. Take care and Happy rendering:)

I like the one on the left. I agree with nanotyrannus about the right one being too pixelated. Great job with the motion blur :)

The one to the left is my favourite! The landscape just seems more dramtatic and interesting... and another thought : I think it would be cool with having the motionblur and the ground and the clouds (a little less motionblur than you've got on the planes), and then having the planes in focus. I'd love to see how that would look. But it's a great picture already :)

Left but, you should unblur the planes or blur the background to make it more beleivable.

Fabulous....I choose the left because of the clairty of the details on the terrain itself. Superb effects!!!

Fantastic image! Excellent idea, details and pov. For me the left one is better :)

Both landscapes look great but the left has more detail and is less pixelated. I think it will look even more realistic without the motion blur on the planes. (As if the shot was taken from within another plane flying with the rest).

Yes Gareth, I agree with erka. Nevertheless, an excellent one!!!

Left wins; especially with the motion applied to the fighters (Me-109s I believe)
