Description

Another try at recreating a JW Waterhouse image - but I added and took away, etc. I love his work SO much. I became very fascinated with his painting of Rosamund while I was working on it - The servant-woman looks distraught to an extent, as she gazes at Rosamund, who seems to be gazing intently down the road as though she is anxiously waiting for someone. If anyone knows the story behind the image *S* please let me know. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CREDITS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Servant-womans' headclothe- original model by Helmut (i've painted on it to make it look more like the original picture) Servant-woman - V2 & "Tallulah" char by Stormi Rosamund - V3 & "Lucy" Char by Angelmoon (Note: Rosamund's face, hair and hair ribbon were hand painted-I know of no models like these) Rosamund's Dress - Daz3d-Morphing fantasy dress (Note: Parts of rosamund's dress have been handpainted to achieve the look and pose of the cloth that I desired & was unable to correctly morph into a natural position) Rosamund's Hair braid and Hair ribbon is Painted. Curtains - (here at MP - sorry, cant remember whose) Tall candle stand - part of Mediterannean Pak at Daz 3d Potted Palm plant (also part of the above package) Chair - part of mediterannean package at Daz Clothe draped on chair-is also part of the mediterannean package at Daz3d (in platinum club) Horse - P4 original horse with red roan texture Horse Cart - I apologize can't remember where I got this =( If anyone knows please message me and i'll be sure to give proper credit. Man on cart - M2 with adventurer's suit from Daz3d Castle model in distance - "BurgEnd" I believe it's in free stuff here at R Bridge -here in Free stuff section Tapestry frame: Renderosity Free stuff Yarn: Painted Textures: for wall - David Gurrea at http://www.davegh.com/blade/davegh.htm curtain and floor textures by me Thanks so much (as always) for stopping by -- have a super day!

This is about as regal as it gets. Stunning detail. I love the realism, it looks like a great master, just been lovingly restored. How beautiful this is. Excellent! Steve

What a very excellent work you've done here. Those sure don't look like Poser figures, and the scene doesn't look like a 3D render. You've also done fine justice with the homage to Waterhouse's art without merely copying his work.
General info about Rosamund. And here is brief, but more specific info that might explain the longing shown in the painting.
Very well done!

I dont know the story, but your image speaks volumes! Absolutely magnificent. I love your style, the way you avoid that typical Vue or Poser look. Eagerly awaiting the next one...

Beautiful. I'm loving your 'painted' style. There's so many small details in your work, I particularly the semi-transparent cloth over the chair. And the chair. And the tapestry and, oh well you get the idea. Great stuff.

Hey mom, this image is fantastic! Your growth as an artist is extreamly evident in your latest work(even though i've always loved your stuff)The only thing I can notice is that the way her bent legs lay on the floor is a bit off, and you might play around with the saturation of the maids hand it pops just alittle! Other than those insainly small and otherwise unimportant details this picture rocks! Very, very impressed! Love U-kc-

I rarely have seen such a "complete" image. Fantastic work here. The carpet maybe is just a little too strong for my eyes, i would have expected it darker with this light. And less dominant. But as cheret20 said, this is a small and unimportant detail. You see me very very impressed too!

Looks like a real oil painted image - really excellent work - it would be interesting to see original scene without postwork (even as a small thumbnail picture) to truly appreciate the great work you done in postwork.

would love to see you make more along the lines of this one with different women and such it is stunning to say the least . Congradulations for making digital art seem as if it rolled right off the tip of the master brush.

This is a gorgeous picture! You cause me to want to investigate the artist, with whom I am unfamiliar. The carpet does seem to jump out at you, but that's the only real complaint I have.
