Description
Bought a second lens for my Canon EOS 300D: the Canon EF 28-135 mm. It has an "image stabilizer" feature designed to make it easier to shoot in low light sans tripod. I gave it a quick first try tonight and came up with this. Considering it was very windy and that I hand-held at 1/15 sec, I'd say it did alright. I'll give it a more thorough workout in the coming weeks. :)

The image stabalizer seems to work fantastic! I wouldn't be able to do that with my film cam without a tripod.lol. Wonderful shot...I think I can see your rooftop. ;) Love your work!

1/15 sec? Unbelievabel! You must have very calm hands. Well done! great pic! From where did you shoot it?

A gorgeous shot! I have the same lens (for my Canon D60) and I can't get a shot that clear at 1/15 sec, even with the IS. You must have very steady hands.
Raven_427
IS is a great thing to have, yep. Have fun with that lens .. and thanks for this wonderful shot!

Asphenmueller: I shot this from Twin Peaks in San Francisco. :)

Great shot. I have been there so many times and shot this so often I can't even count. Sometimes at night sometimes during the day and sometimes at dusk. Anyways you did great job. I can even make out the rainbow flag on market street. I always try to have that flag in my pictures since it is a very important symbol for market street.
