Description

i created this just for fun, a jungle scene with some ants and plants. used photoshop for the leaf textures and the normal cinema shader (version 6) for the wood and ants. all is modeled by me ( all plants you see, ants and the bugs) only the massiv blurred background, is a image. the right image, i hope ;)

I too, simply adore this image! It's perfectly executed! - The light is spot on, the texturing of the branch and ants is great and the modeling of the plants + DOF is perfect! ..but now for some constructive critism ;) I think the image lacks something.. like a deeper "meaning" : 1 - I believe the image lacks something... I think this image could be a little more interesting if you deleted the top (about a quarter of the image). That would make the aspect-ratio more appealing and original. The 4:3 is just so boring and normal... 2 - You could give this image a whole new dimension if you made it funny!?!... Like making one of the ants carry a small, dirty model of scoopy-doo, the Eiffel-tower or something similar (I'm sure there are things that would be a lot more funny! :)... By doing that you would give the whole image a meaning, make the viewer start thinking... It just think it would be a perfect addition to this image. --- What do you think? The image is already great, but I would be very happy if you would consider my ideas! :) Keep up the good work! It's great.. - Thomas
