Description
Living in Florida, all sorts of critters make my backyard their home. Among the most fun to watch are the myriad of lizards. This one calls a large aloe plant by my front door his and zealously guards it against all intruders.
Usually, if a human draws near, they are quick to scamper off. This time he held still while I took his portrait...for a short while anyway. I tried to get a shot of him with his red neck sack extended but I guess he was shy about that.
