Description

After visiting, I had to come home and reassemble four shots of the 'blue wing hotel' wall into a long (6800x1600 pix) photo texture. The windows are from the Mission across the street. Wierd to think it was a Spanish garrison to defend against the Russians, coming down from Sitka and Seattle. -*- Then, some assembly in Bryce. Shamelessly, the golden lasso just floated in. The lights were a challenge and maybe just a bare bulb would do, eh? -*- Thanks for viewing!

very nice, but I want to suggest on the lights - it would greatly improve the realism of this scene (in my opinion) to put glass bulbs around them as would occur in real life. Put some refraction on them like in the material presets and you could have a wicked lighting setup here. On a positive spin I love the grass and of course the textures kick-*(censored)i>. Well, they kick butt anyway. :-)

I really like the stacked flatrocks along the bottom of the right wall! Also, great foliage growing out of the rock cylinders!

You are a master at composition and making those photos work for you. Excellent work. I think the floating lasso gives it some surrealism...

this image is so realistic...looks like a photo! Fantastic rendering here...uh, I don't like the golden lasso...something about it is creepy. I think it has the feel of some kind of torturing device. Sorry. But overall I love it...just not that lasso.
