Absolute stunner, this image is so full of patterns, textures, shapes that it is hard to keep your eyes on one layer of work at a time. Yet the totality of the picture is at peace, a sort of clockwork rhythm that gives us a sense of belonging and rest. The muted earthcolours make for a natural feel, instead of a mechanical one. So this is a real dreammachine, one that exists in each one of us and can never be reproduced in our technological world. V
