Shock Squid's just a working name by the way.. I should have put this up here awhile ago.
Just another little photo composition. The squid-like sea monster is 3D, everything else is a mess made up of probably 5+ photos.
The creature was modeled in Wings3D for the April "Sea Creature" challenge here at the R'osity Wings3D forums. You can check out this older WIP forum thread for more pics (including wires) and info about the creature.. Or, my little geo site has a good overview as well -- Shock Squid. Try not to crash it with a sudden rush of traffic though ;] Wings3D modeling Ray Dream 5.5 rendering Painter 5.5 a ton of manipulation and composition
