Description

0600: Three AH-64 Apaches at their first trainingsflight of the day over my hometown. I got the idea while driving on the highway and looking at the US Airbase Erbenheim/Wiesbaden near my hometown. The ground-texture is exported from a satellite-program showing the city with an resolution of 7 feet per pixel. Did some research: The choppers based there are part of the US 1st Armored Division, I think they're called 501st Aviation "Flying Dragons". *Apachemodell is freestuff at 3dcafe *lights of the city is postwork *the rest all Bryce Thanks for viewing & commenting

Thanks for the hint captor, cool software, the first time I heard of it was when CNN showed high-res pics of baqdad, but unfortunately there is no high-res material for Germany. I am using a proggie called D-Sat5. The airbase is located near Frankfurt/Germany but I heard that the US forces will leave in a few years, I'll surely miss the anual american-german-friendship festival at the airbase...
