Description

Taken with an Olympus C2040Zoom. Nashville TN has it's own Parthenon. On the west end of the structure there are massive doors, that are rarely used any longer, but as you can see from the nose of this lion, they are still touched often. I'd say the nose is what would be pushed upon to open the door from the outside. I don't know how historically accurate the sculpture is, but it's quite nice. The contrasting colors and textures work very well together to enhance the details in the lions face.
