Description

I created this "Cap" Lock a while ago for the C4D Flint Lock challenge, but I was never really happy with it so I never put it in my gallery. Well I decided to load it up again, tweek it and rework it, and now here it is again in all its new rendered glory.

Beautiful model and excellent work. One problem, it's not a flintlock! It's a cap lock. A flintlock has a piece of flint that strikes a frizzen to create sparks to fire the gun. A caplock has a hammer (like this) that come down on a nipple were a small percussion cap sits that then fires to ignite the black powder. These weapons came about around the 1840's / 1850's. That being said, nice job!
