Description

- I have been trying to do more freehand painting - I also have resisted useing Poser models - I have been looking for my own - This is my first and now new Avavnt-Garde Lady - 90 + % of this I created with my Wacom tablet in PhotoImpact 8 - This is crude and unfinished looking but she is where I want to be now - Eyes are my favorite anatomical feature and is really where I had to work the hardest - all I do is practice drawing eyes hundreds of attemts mistakes & deletes but I feel good enough with this to let her be seen - I put a few little details in other parts to make up for my what I cannot do yet - - Thank You for your view & take care - - SoulEatar -

She is gorgeous, and I don't see her as unfinished at all. Why try to make "realistic" painings like photos? Her eyes are beautiful, as is her whole appearance!

There always has to be a first. The first is alway the one that ends up at the other side of the dustbin. Your freehand is great. I agree with Gunwhy realistic like a photo?? Ever tried a smudge tool(different brushes) for hair?? works great!!

She came out well. In the world of expression the sense of a face tilted forward keeps the image from the amateur attempts. Color is the item that trys to vanish in human skin. Light takes over.
