Description

This is a photo of my business partner and best friend Ellen Oppenheim. She is going to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a forty-foot catamaran. Our friends wanted to see her in her foul weather gear before she left, so took some shots in her room then I put her on a tug I had photographed Sunday while riding the Staten Island ferry. She is a very strong willed woman, and I believe she is in for the ride of her life. Besides running our store single-handed, I will be thinking of her constantly for the next four weeks.
