Description
A new instrument is born....This is going to be a cross between a guitar and a mandola,for a mandolin sound without having to learh a new instrument.....6 strings,tuned like guitar,short 21" scale.tuned in C..or whatever you want......adirondack/redwood top>> figured maple everything else....I know it's rough but they have to start somewhere...What should I call this thing....T

a mandolar or perhaps a guitola, you should share a few sketches, unless you want to keep it secret. I always thought that the tuning of the mandola was what gave it its peculiar sound, perhaps you will find out soon.
