Description

The original shot is my entry to the May Challenge No Postwork to show you the difference. Here I did a little pw (contrast, brilliance etc.) to enhance the colour of the wee bloom and added the frame. This bloom is called "Sumpfdotterblume" in Germany... don't know the name in English, sorry. Hope you like it. Thanks for viewing and commenting on my previous shot Happy Mother's Day Hugz Monika

According to my translator it's the swamp-eggyolk flower. So soft looking.

a beautiful shot (and I thought the same with the no-postwork version). I must say, though, that I like the added contrast in this version...really makes it feel special

It is a marsh marigold (Caltha palustris) and you've captured it not only brilliantly, but you've succeeded in that very well by softening and framing it in a very suitable way!

Found the same translations as jimry and ModestyB. But whatever it is called it looks just beautiful - and your frame matches the image perfectly!
