Description

Got tired of all them green flies in my garden. So I took my airbrush and painted them in all sorts of colours :) Now it's a multi-coloured festival in my garden. PapaGuru.

painting flies? he almost looks part mechanical with the silver & irridescent reds & blues... he could be RoboFly!! ...& congrats on "featured artist" at P-G! :] sure some great dragon & damselfly shots there!

I thought it was normal??? Who needs a sunburn when you can get a airbrushburn. That'll keep them down a bit!!! Mind you those eyes look a bit creepy!

I'm fascinated by this flys, they look like "metal micromachines" or some (coming from outerspace LOL)... A great macro, I'm very admirative and excited... as when I see a Masterpiece ! V and thanks for sharing !

Drosophila melanogaster can suffer from the red eye disease, but his one...? I guess you need to make use of preflashes before you take the picture! :) Your garden must look very colorful with all those buzzinf flies around!
