Description
There's a german (und dutch) idiom called 'hair splitting', which means being extremely precise about and involved with things that are not really important (I don't think it exists in English).

Yes, "splitting hairs" means the same in english. Personally to me it means that what is left of my hair is indeed splitting in reality. Great image, love the symmetry and the splitting that's going on. Nice work!
