Looks Great. Would love to know how you did the trees?

In this one, trees are HV made. I make a copy of the landscape mesh in modeler, subdivide it to have a lot of point. kill all polygone to save only point,, add some jitter on (x,z) and a little on y. After study of ecosystem rules, i defined zone where i want the trees (deleting point in modeler where i don't want trees). You can import this second mesh in layout (now you have the landscape and the points that defined the trees placement. After the difficult is to find the good setup for HV - a long time for me to find the good way:)- This way is good for this kind of pic, but not for close up. (i'm currently working on another way to render trees for close-up view). hope this help you.

Technically well done, but also with a very keen artistic eye. Beautiful work... you've captured a very cold and serene icy calm here. :o)

if it weren't for the trees, this looks very similar to a terragen render
