Description

After watching Joss Whedon's "Firefly" series, I felt inspired to do a picture in the style of a TV series publicity still. So here's the cast; the astrogator, pilot, and engineer of the blockade runner "Thunderbolt". Victoria 3.0 figures wearing the Uzilite "Moon Over Saturn" jumpsuit and boots. Hair by DAZ3D. Thunderbolt and attendant craft are original models built in Truespace. Remaining scene elements, image assembly and final rendering in Bryce 5. No post rendering work. Your comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

Besides all the technical details that you executed so very well, I like the fact that the poses of the figures actually look like there are posing for a photograph. Like it was a casual day and someone just decided to tell these girls. Hay look this way, and snapped a photo. Excellent work.

This is stunning. The character poses and facial expressions are dead on and realistic. The eyes have it! Stunning poser work. Excellent!

Whoah! Your grasp of posture and bodily expressions is nothing short of amazing! Your other scenes show the same subtle mastery of how people really stand, sit, and move around - always appropriate to the situation. Others who use Poser should take a page from your book.

I'd watch the show. A very good piece which really look like the characters are responding to the camera. My only crit is the dark section on the crotch made me (at first glance) think something was dangling between their legs...and I shuddered!

Love the depth. The "lights" material give this tunnel city life. Any constructive criticism would be maybe there are too many lights in the city and not enough (any) on the spacecraft.
