Description

I made this in 1975. Made by putting my hand in developer and placing it on the paper and turning on the room light for a brief second and back off and sliding the paper in the stop quickly. I did several for these but this one came out the best. Oh do I miss those darkroom days. I haven't been in the dark in about 15 years. Just bought my first digi-camera a few months ago. It's still not the same as film (sigh). But then again, now I have PhotoShop. I named it I was here in remembrance of the cave drawings made by blowing a colored powder around the hand. No one today knows exactly why they did this. It might just be saying "I was here". Human first self awareness.

LOL..I also did a few of these,When I worked in the darkroom also in the late 70's...I understand with Photoshop you can recreate many of the darkroom tricks...Excellent Pic..Great to see someone else has there start from photograph..We didn't have computers back then..lol...I feel old now:)
