Description

Fourth chapter of the series of crashed rocks. This is the last image, because I don't want to "overdo" the series. I will post a couple of pics more, but they'll be descriptive shots of the location, to give the series a frame. Let me share a couple of lines on why I've been struck by this vision in this series. I've been shocked by how similar are the results of casual natural collisions, to the efforts of artists in organizing the chaos into an artistic composition. But what takes artists hours, days, or sometimes weeks to arrange, it takes only a fraction of a minute to the nature. Yet, everything is there. There is order and balance, you can see it. Nothing in this pictures was arranged by me, i didn't move a single piece of stone. You can see the fractures and how they can combine or be apart and create emptiness. Then you think of the separation of the continents and the millions of years that it took, then look at the crashed rocks and see the same, in a much smaller scale of time and space. And art does the same, so what do we artists do, create actually something, or rediscover structures and patterns that are lost depp within us?... Perhaps we all respond to an universal scheme of arranging order and chaos... Pretty weird train of thoughts eh? :-) Anyway, that was it - hope you can like it anyway ;-) Thanks for viewing! :-)

Bravo Orio! Outstanding series. I really love this one. The composition, if you'll pardon the expression, "rocks"! ;) vote
