Description
This was one of a couple of test pics I did for Bob Buttery's new challenge world over at 3dc ;D
Bob did some work on the planet after this pic was done, so the darker areas will turn out much better in your images...yeah!!!
I did this pic with shadows on at high render settings and it whizzed through the pc in 4hours - with block redo off. Renders nearer the water will take a lot longer but the water transparency is brilliant ;)

That's one helluva fissure!!! The texture reminds me of Mezo-American carvings. Could be the whole mountain was carved out and used as an ancient site! The image lets one's imagination fly!! Excellent!!
