Description
Chromium planet.
It is certainly the only render which I will do of this planet considering the time of returned (more than 50 hours in 1024*768 - pc=2,5 Ghz)

Hehe! Yes not the shortest rendering times here...but does yield some great results. Higher altitude and less waters would probably make for a more reasonable render time ...if you ever go back for a second ...lol!!! I like this central 'chrome rose' which appears to be the main focus ;)

D'apr ce que je commence comprendre avec ce programme, il faut iter deux choses avec les planes qui prentent de forts "displacements" : placer la cama devant des faces verticales importantes, ou bien la placer tr pr du sol... les deux situations engendrent des temps de rendu abominables ! Dans le cas prent, tu es tr proche de la surface du sol, d'ocertainement les 50 heures de calcul. Comme le dit David, en evant la cama tu ruiras d'autant le temps de rendu. En tout cas excellent shot !

Nice colours and sky in this one. The combination of reflective surface, water and big displacements slows things hugely as I know only too well from my present experimenting
