Description

I have be playing with rock textures, the rock formation at Pedro's Bluff is unique, so with my trusty D100, I decided to capture it and use it in this image, this is the result. I have also been playing with surf. The Barque is from Master modeler Alain Gracia. The birds are mine. Thanks for taking a glance, it is always appreciated. Great work Joe! The rocks and foam however, seem to be somewhat pixelated?

If you look in the stern, you will see the lone fisherman at the helm:-)) SB, the photograph was used as a texture map for the rocks.

Very nice scene. If you look at the texture of the rick, you will see it is very pixelated. This happens usually with photographic textures. To improve it, edit the material of your rock and select 'Bilinear filtering' in the Color tab of your material. that will help smoothing out those square pixels.

Beautiful POV ! textures are unfortunately pixelated perhaps avoidable by using larger definitions photographs

great job on the rocks. They look more realistic. Foam and barnicles....and the bird is watching for fish or even some scraps being tossed overboard from the passing vessel....another goody on this fine Sunday.
