Thanks for posting the pre-postwork version. I love the study in contrasts. You really do a nice job adding luminescence to your colors. This really adds a nice oil painting look to it. Frankly, I wouldnt be surprised to see this on a book cover some day! Good job! I think the only reason it might not have won is that we cant see the wizards face. However, if you were to add a cowering apprentice, or some kind of familiar, with a good expression, that might resolve that issue. Even without these suggestions, youve got another GREAT piece here!
