Description

This is a lovley Dalmation from the Tijuana animal shelter. She was one of the lucky ones who found her way there before stavation left her helpless. I was told many storys about rescuded animals as well as many about animals who are just waiting at the door in the morning seeking asylum / shelter. Dalmations are a bit trickyer than most dogs. They useally bond with one human only and do not do the dog pack thing well. Currently she is bonded with a employee as her healing begins. She has much to relearn but is progressing well. You can still see the pain in her eyes but you can also see great intelegence, hope and love for some lucky human. There was a very beautiful boxer droped off while I was there. It never stoped wagging its stubby little tail. A real happy camper of a dog. I asked what was wrong with it and was told the owners thought it was " El Stupido " ( spanish for To stupid ). Two guess's who we thought was the stupid ones. There was also the uglyest little pip squeek of a dog no bigger than a rat. It was kind of the mascot of the shelter very papmpered. I forgot the disease it had when it was brought in but after it was cured it couldnt take 2 steps with out turning a full circle. Round and round it went , over and over. It quickly grew on you and made you smile from ear to ear doing its happy little circle dance. I didnt really understand the spanish name for it but it was something like "the little clown" There was one more worth mentioning. Kind of the dog king or head guard dog. Another little 1/2 breed thing , kind of a cross between a wiener dog and lab with little short leggs . It followed you around were ever you went like it was guarding you. If any of the dogs got out of line it was all over it. Any dogs fighting beyond horse play got a ear full of this one. A few times the barking got out of control when a strange car drove by. If you never heard 250 dogs barking there heads off, you will never want to again . Talk about a ruckus. I guess thats why this place is in the middle of Tim buck too. I was told full moons are a real yack fest and to bring ear plugs.
