Description

After 28 hours of rendering finnally my poor PC reached in give me this image. It isnt bad, even if it isnt neither as I wished... but I dont think I will render it anymore!!! Really it isnt a surreal work, it is closer a philosophical allegory on the technique - technology. If you have impressions, advices, comments please post it: they will be highly appreciated. Vote only if ranks are good enogh! (I joke) :o) Thanks all.

This is excellent except one thing. The Texture on the girl is very weak compared to the rest of that great work. I still give it excellent but I am saying it again (It's not your fault if you havent made the texture) the texture on the girl doesn't go with the rest.

The girl is simply Judy, with her texture. I dont know if it isnt a good texture itself, but I hope you dont refer to the postwork on the leg.

This definatly needs to be in a Landscape format not portrait. meaning it needs to be wider to catch whats going on and tellingthe whole story. also.. start looking into post work, that woudl help on the transition between rock and flesh, smooth her elbows, as well as other thing. try posting some of your art on PBC and see the comments you get =)

This is really quite beautiful and just how I feel at the moment! You have captured a still moment and made it your own! In a word - Bravisamo!

Yes it is inspired, of course to Galatea and Pigmalion. Anyway it wants to be a translation of it to our world.

I couldn't decide which way the metamorphosis goes. From stone/ivory to life or from life to stone/salt? So Galatea is the one idea I had (before reading comments) and the other was Lot's wife, not looking at Sodom but at the mirror.
Sometimes in the morning when I'm looking in the mirror I'm feeling this way... sigh Anyway, it's your best work until now, Diego. Congrats!

Ok, I think now I have to explain better what I intended whit this work: the girl who are metamorphosing gives her shoulders to the technique and are looking wonderer to her view in the mirror (the reflection!)... She are metamorphosing herself to the life. Ok, really it is very more complex but the essence is that. Thanks to everyone, anyway.

I like the extra touches you added to the render, (like the lens flare),and the composition--you have the artists' eye for beautiful shapes!
