Description

My latest piece: The plants are trunks with alpha mapped leaves, render time was about 2:14 at 1200x1600. It kind of started on a whim and just evolved. Comments are always welcome.

BRAVO! Nicely done. only crit is the leaves look too even and thin...ish? also, it looks overly sharp. try a blur of .5 in PS. Use a Z depth for even better look! anyhow, great image. Pete

God damn is right! This is incredible!! Vote. Such rich atmosphere and imagination - I love this. It would be fabulous as a HUGE mural. You can just dive into it in a heady Escher way. This is one of those pictures that inspire great novels and films.

very impressive work. the trees do look a bit 'alphaed' though. i thought that before i noticed that you had sated they were alpha maps. beyond that though, extremely impressive work

Top marks for this one... and a vote! You might want to try a bit of edge fuzziness as well to help soften your foliage. :o) Terrific work!
