Well, I'm back from hiatus. I did a MAJOR clean-up of my photos this weekend and I highly recommend it to all of you!! Seriously, go through all those old prints and slides that you will never do anything with and sort them. Toss the duds, keep the good prints with their negatives, put all good slides into storage sheets, and label all envelopes/storage sheets clearly. I am so grateful (though my back and shoulders aren't quite so appreciative!) that I had the discipline to devote an entire day to this.
Here is an older shot that I found while purging. This is the subway station that I used to pass through at least once a day. The hole in the mirror kind of freaked me out a bit. It almost looks like a bullet hole!
Anyhow, nice to be back, sorry I've been sporatically posting comments on your sites, but I'm a busy girl!

Hey, busy girl we understand!! Good to cull sometimes huh! This shot is great. I see what you mean about the bullethole too. I really like these public-distorted-light shots. Good stuff Carly.

a busy but ever-so productive girl! I'm so glad you posted this. I always love mirror portraits...and yes, that 'bullet' hole is...eye-catching to say the least...it's like a blackhole sucking you in...love the dirty yellow tones
