Description

This is my take on Dementia's wonderful new 'Angie' texture (free stuff)... I apologize for using my own model, but I've grown fond of her and she looks gorgeous in this skin :). I'm really pleased with how this turned out... the background was rendered in Vue and composited in PSP. The only post-work on the model was a slight smoothing of the hand shadow on her chest (I could have done more, but wanted to keep this fairly virgin). The rest is pure Poser. Enjoy. *Special thanks to Dementia for the new (hand-painted) texture! Stats: Poser render, background rendered in Vue, minor post and compositing in PSP. I see from this and your past postings that you are partial to the ineffable beauty of the rare, green eyed red-head. This image is quite exquisite considering the subject matter but the background is a little sparse and the shadows on her left shoulder seem out of place considering how bright the overall image is. The subcutaneous veins by the shoulders and in the neck and hands give a feeling of health and vigor. I don't like the long fingernails though. They contrast with her rough, lightly protruding knuckles too much.

Really like this one. It has a sort of surreal look, and that makes it all the more interesting. Nice work

Thanks for the comments everyone! Qarl, you caught me - Yes, I do have a certain affinity for green-eyed red-heads :) and thanks for the comments/suggestions. H&S, I tend to drift back and forth between realism/surrealism (and Vargis-style pinups), depending on the inspiration of the moment - nice observation. Dementia, thanks again for your gift to the community! Oh and in case anyone is wondering... I created bump maps, which brought out the knuckles and veigns a bit (I had to wipe off all the freckles.. they made 'pits' :).
