Description
It's night and Mt Rainier stands above the land at 14,408 ft.
This is Washington state.
A ring around the moon means a drop in temperature due to the ice crystals forming the ring.
Rains will be coming, but then again when doesn't it here.
The ice crystals give a bright unnatural light reflected off Mirror Lake.
This may happen during the fall when the days are warm and the nights get cold.
This doesn't happen very often, but it is a sight to see when it does.
It is the spookiest sensation and yet so peaceful and serene..
