Same terrain as yesterdays. I think the focus blur on this (provided by Melancholytron) kinda makes this look like a closeup of a model/diorama. Post saturation adjustment, diffuse glow, levels and sharpening also. tfv&c!

Well focused centre, but reduce the amount of Melancholytron down to app. 30 - 50%, so the transition between the sharp and the blurred parts are more 'fluid'. Xlt Idea, anyway!

LOL I'm expecting the man made smoke to come from the lumps any minute! (Remember the Brady Bunch episode when they built a volcano) I like this picture a lot! Going to check out the Mely. filter again..... Nice work.

Interesting - the effect makes us focus on the centerpiece, but it might have lost some detail - good idea, anyway!
