Created in PSP with the smudge tool like it was oil paints. too fun!

Glorious colour! Very powerful impact, I love the fiery nature of this, it's incredibly striking. Just awesome!

started with a simple outline of the firebird using a small palette of colours white oranges and a bit of brown airbrushing the marbled background then basicly used the smudge tool to "paint" like I had a canvas full of oily slickory colours... some of the finer details were created using the airbrush tool but yet again NO filters NO effects just a couple of hours of painting with my incredible art tool the PC and Paint Shop Pro thank you all for your comments.
