Description
Modeled and rendered completely in Bryce 5.0, and lots and lots of postwork, and sleepless nights.
Please feel free to give me any tips and suggestion how to improve this image.
Note: If you look very closely, you'll notice that this image is not fully rendered, because i couldn't wait any longer to post it.
Enjoy

lol, I sense some sort of resentment

lol, we have another comedian here!! very funny prank! my tips are.... 1. Try a less complex image, this one might be too much for your computer to handle. 2.definately increase the detail levels of your image, this is stunning, but you can do better. 3.GET SOME SLEEP ;) 4. you might want to lower the sphere, as the shadow can increase render times 50% 5. Eliminate the clouds or do a complete overcast, so it has less detail to render. 6. Try a 72 hour render, if your cpu doesn't melt then you are okay for a 148 hour render ;) other than that! this is f*&#;@ing AWESOME! gonna be my background for a while.

Oooh, impressive picture! And the shadow, so evocative. Wow, the object floating in the empty space! Sure is a masterpiece. The sky so pure in the background... Who cares about unfinished rendering?

I have just realised that although this image is really good this size, you could reduce the size of the next image you do to cut down render time! I do agree with Dani3d the shaddow is the key factor in this image, a great detail!

Try sales.

Im impressed, the pixelisation on the sphere is awsome !! and the way youve staggered the shadow is mind blowing !! you must have spent hours perfecting it, I also have to say that is one of the best Skies I have ever seen. Well Done, youve got my vote.

maybe not use the 'superfine' render settings..and the complex mats definately slow down render time..avoid things like this one..looks like 'volumetric putty'.mat..and probably less use of lights..radials if you got 'em..bias-ply if you don't..;)
brylaz
What kind of computer do you have? A Cray-One? Impossible to do with mine... Hollywood is calling!!! I give it up...!! ;-)

Swade
Lol! You might very well be on the road to being the worlds next Picasso! This is absolutely fabulous work. If I keep working hard at it I should achieve similar results. Can't wait till I reach that plane of excellence. Frogdot is right though... it might be worth animating this one. ;)
