Description

This is for photoshop but i also made some psp tubes that paints hair for you JASC users... http://primalstuff.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/primaltruckhairpsptubes.zip i tried to keep it very simple, and if prog or pjaj or seacrystal or any of the great ones who paint hair would like to add anything to this it would be wonderful.... it helps to know your photoshop program somewhat. to get a more real look you can very your colors and add multiple layers of strands with about 80% trancperency,,starting with darker colors and working your way toward lighter hues. blurring the outside edges and around the face gives it a softer look,,adding a little shadow to the face is nice too.multiple layers make it more editable also. i learned most of this from prog and crasher and beachadonis,,but i know that antje and a few others have fantastic tutorials, and it would help to read them..and thank you so much for this info,i find hair painting to be a wonderful stress release..very calming and fun to do.. and thank you Elfy and the rest for getting me to do this and helping me test my tubes.

You not only show the beautiful image, which is your end result, but your willingness to be so generous in helping others is commendable!

Wow Bill, what an excellent way to share your knowledge!! I love your short tutorial as this looks very similar to the techniques that I learned from way back in my starting days! I started out all alone, but quickly tried Crashers tutorial and then added tips from antje, Avengia, and many others around the net! So many good tips from each one, but also to numerous to remember them all! I will add that what works for one person may not work for others, but the basics in your tutorial are really the standard points needed to get there! It takes time and practice, but each new day bring another step closer. :) I appreciate the tutorial you have shared, and agree with prog in saying I enjoy seeing the many different styles! Everyone has something to add/or share that can help others!! It's the giving that makes it all worth while!! Fantastic artwork my friend, thanks for sharing!! -SeaC- :)
