Thanks, cunreno. I wanted just a slice of it in focus, to enhance the texture of the stone. The colors were a bit bland (as most digital camera pictures usually are) but they really came through once I played around with color saturation and contrast.

It's a pumice stone, the kind that's shaped into a block about the size of a large soap cake. Used to scrub things etc.
