Never seen something like that in iceland :-) but the picture is great and I like the texture and the speed sensation coming from the sun and the clouds. great picture !

unbelievable dreamy and soulful! thanks for showing jens! die weichen formen vom terrain mit den roten linien der strata zeigen etwas zartes... mit liebe/gefl durchzogenes. noch dazu der stimmungsvolle himmel, der die landschaft darzubieten scheint... trm mein vote hast du, ich h besser auf zu schreiben, sonst wird das hier noch ein roman... lhel forgotten the ranking. ;-)

The scene reminds me of the North Atlantic coast around Newfoundland and Labrador. The sparse terrain and realistic surface detail are the backdrop for the dialogue between sky and spirit. The bliss has a regularity of pattern that gives the sky a semblance of logic and order; the red lines, like the ancient writings of a nature spirit, add a layer of unfathomable meaning to the solitude. Jens, you have created a true work of art here, an image that carries a meaning above and beyond the merely pictoral. Bravo!
