nice photos - especially of the aircraft in flight. it is an early (?) b-25 "mitchell" bomber.

a good variety of views of a classic plane. I think this type of plane was used in the Doolittle Raids in WW2.

A B-25 Bomber? Thanks for the varification. In another shot the name of this particular bomber is "Pacific Prowler".

Yup, the North American B-25. My Grandfather helped to design this during World War II at North American Aviation. Nice Photos.

Cool pics of the "Pacific Prowler" B-25 Mitchell. You've definitely got better shots of this one in flight than I did (probably 'cuz my zoom is only 70 - 130mm. I'll have to get a stronger lens sometime.) Also I like the engine detail shot, but like my pic (I've taken a similar shot of this same aircraft) it's dark (one needs a light or reflector to really bring it out. Not something that one thinks of on short notice.) Also I see that you had a worse crowding situation than I did while taking pictures. LOL!

Thanks for the kind words! It was a very bright and HOT day. I tried to keep the sun behind me so as to better light the subjects and not get them in a shadow (sun behind subject). If I had a dollar for every car that was there I would have at least 4-5 thousand! BTW I used a 75-300mm at 300mm for the in flight pics on a monopod, basically a single legged tripod. Thanks Again for viewing and commenting!
