Interesting slice of history you've got here. You would think the cake and the guillotine would be a 'dead' givaway here. October 16, 1793 was a bad year for Queen Marie Antoinette as this nicely done image shows. There should be more people (peasants) around shouting and cheering as well as an executioner and basket up on the platform of the 'device'. Poor Marie looks a bit put-off by the whole event.

You've made the poor woman look rather ghastly- she was in fact quite beautiful (contrary to French revolution propaganda), and very naive (didn't know flour was needed for bread as well as cake). This image sums up the whole situation nicely. Good symbolism in its starkness.
