Description
We all make mistakes, it's part of life, part of the world in which we live. For Jenni Asfel the mistake is all too real, it's a part of her daily life, a part of who she is. For the past two years, Jenni has woken up with another person's face inside her own.
Jenni lives in a community hostel, a honeycomb of small bedrooms assembled in Monument & Bank, it's owned by a variety of syndicates, a band of smugglers, pushers and gangsters. Jenni was a model topside, the kind of face, the kind of body that graced the glossy mags, hologram adverts and plasma screens of the high fashion market. Until the day she refused an invitation to bed from a very unpleasent, but powerful man. Jenni refusal was sharp and insulting, an embarrassment for the individual. Something that required a cruel response.
Jenni lives amongst the hookers and junkies at Monument & Bank now, trying to stay alive, taking whatever she can to make money. Each day she wakes up and looks at the depth of the cruelty of the world, a world I fear she desperately wants to leave.
See you soon friends
