Description
This was an early attempt to see if I could create any interesting effects. Somehow, I ended up with an island floating in the air and I thought it looked kind of cool, so I saved it.
As it happens, the part that I worked on for the longest was the island's texture. It's just a Bryce preset but I spent quite a bit of time experimenting with it, trying to make it a more "natural" shade of green. I hope it worked. :P

Cool I like it..your title reminds me of a fav., song "island's in the sky that is who we are" etc., Kenny Rogers.....Great!

a happy mistake? I love those. Nice work yes the green colour is spot on for the lighting. well done.

Ah yes, I know the song, coolcatcom! Funny...That thought never occurred to me when I was naming the pic, heh. It just seemed like the logical name for it, given the content. :) And tase, thank you. I'm glad that my work on the colour paid off. It's actually funny how many of my pieces are somewhat "accidental". I often start out having basically no idea what I'm about to create. :)
