HOw did you create that incredible background? Is it a scan of a natural media piece or was it generated all in photoshop? It has so much life and texture to it, with all those subtle shades of sepia!

Thanks! The background was created with fractals and a lot of layering, clipping, desaturating and recolorizing. The rest is scans, stock photos, some pencil touching up here and there. It's a real hodge-podge of techniques...but was fun to do!

A very inspiring symbolic image, wonderful execution. The background is very inspiring and although the superposed items look a little disperse, the overall effect is beautiful. Great lighting.

Great assemblage of nostalgic items with very nice transparency effects. Reminds me of Joseph Cornell's surrealist boxes.

First,I agree with all the above comments and love the touches of red that seem to bring it all together. The dried roses, ruby, even paper stain & the skeleton key. Just beautiful as always.

This is just SPECTACULAR!!! You just get better and better. I didn't think that was possible you were so talented to begin with :O) I LOVE this...the coloring is perfect and so antique looking...the splashes of coloring bring alot of "LIFE" to this piece. All-in-all...ABSOLUTE PERFECTION VOTE!!!!
