I am a new artist - learing the ropes in the various 3d programs. I am hoping to enhance my skills through the association with the fantastic artists in Renderosity. I am a better 3d modeler than using the various render programs - but I am getting there.

Looks interesting. Refering to illustrations of other weapons might help, as might thinking about the sort of projectile you would use - as this would affect the design. (I don't want to seem pernicketty but I think the original quote was "Talk softly and carry a big stick.") Good luck.

Or was it "speak softly, but carry a big stick"? I believe this was Theodore Roosevelt's quote, something to do with Foreign Policy at that time. :o)
I really dig the stylish design of these weapons... not sure what the second grip and trigger is all about, but it really looks cool. :o) Maybe you could post a render of it "firing".

The quote is Roosevelt - "Walk Softly and carry a big stick." The extra grip and trigger on the back is because the weapon can be configured in several different ways. The Model is constructed in 3D to be rearranged from heavy pistol, rifle slung, and shoulder fire configuration.

Hopefully this fine weapon is fully auto. Love it!
