I'm a fan of cat too. There's really nothing wrong with this picture. The only thing I would do is get her face a little more in the frame rather than have it right on the edge.

*smiles...aren't those shots amazing? I love this....although rather than saying the face is over too far to the right, I'll say that I like that...I just feel perhaps that you need a bit more interest to the left...perhaps a hand trailing...but that is purely me. I haven't a clue how either of you paint so well with high light. Really good

Another cat_amaris fan agrees with mr. nightmares! (That's not how I get around making a comment BTW!!). The high light is a challenge ... all about accentuation and watching that the various shapes tone up with enough recognizable content - (unless you are using large spaces of white bgd /figure or dark patches for effect - like you have done!), the arm and faceline look good, hair & eyes look interesting, but I think the face whites out a little too far- but that's just my opinion. The angle makes the face central.
