credit is given to gangolf for the picture and such a beautiful picture it is. all I did was take the photo of my screen. Is this classified as cheating and should I delete it. comments please.

"Is this classified as cheating and should I delete it." As for copyright issues, you are OK if you have obtained permission from gangolf. I'd like to see a note here saying that this is the case. As for appropriatness for the Photography Gallery, I'd tend to say it is OK as it demonstrates a new display technology we all may want to know about.

it depends on your view of art i suppose. whilst i prefer the obviousness of effort in artwork, a new idea can become art. i think we all knew it was from a tv screen, and thusly just a photo. but if effects like this can be recreated on tv screens in other scenes, then you may have helped out others desperate to achieve more realism.
