Its a beautiful fractal but I think it would be even better with a black or white background, not grey.

Very pretty series of flames! The gray is different but not unattractive. You might try another neutral color with these lighter colors on the flame. You know that a very pale, beigish yellow is also neutral. Very nice work. I like this and the others very much! (:

I love this series of flame image. This one is just so lovely! You might try mottling or sponging the background. I think the effect is available in the Photoshop filters. It wouldn't be so busy as to detract but would lend texture or substance.
