Description

In the Fionavar Tapestry Trilogy by G.G.Kay, Prince Diarmuid, heir to the Oak Throne of Brennin was one of my favorite characters. Irrepressible, gregarious, vivacious, full of humor, handsome and walked his own path to his own drummer. This is a scene from the first book, "The Summer Tree," in which he greets Jennifer Lowell with "Loren, you brought me a peach to nibble upon." Jennifer was never one to take such things kindly, and the first time he said this to her, her green eyes flashed dangerously. The second time, she was a bit more gracious. **** Credits GG Kay for his incredibly well woven tale April the Loose Comb Hair Daz3d Michaels Long Hair Daz3d V2 Daz3d M2 Daz & Laurie S V3 Morphing Dress, Mask and Glitter Textures Daz M2 Good vs Evil Adventurers Texture Daz M2 Adventurers Clothing MnD Productions for the Room Runtime DNA freebies for the Sword Jasc for the Virtual Painter Plugin And for those whom I forgot exactly who made the texture or figure files on. Very wonderful work! I love the "Old" feel that it has...I watched Lord Of the Rings 3 last night. So it reminds me of that eternal love.

-chuckle- It's not a love scene, though Diarmuid did have his eye on Jennifer. The others in the series that go with the books that I have planned will reveal more, as the author intended. This was merely the irrepressible Prince's way of attempting to charm the 'pants' off Jennifer, it failed. But you'll be happy to know that the Prince wasn't long without 'love' and even more romantic. Thank you for the comments. If you loved Lord of the Rings, then you should check out GG Kay's book. He worked on the translation of Tolkien's The Silmarillion with Tolkein's son, Christopher.
